Candy at a cookie exchange?

I have been invited to a cookie exchange but want to be different and take homemade candy instead. I have already started and am using several different molds and colors, but am sure how many I should make. We are supposed to bring 5 dozen, but am wondering if I should bring more since the candy is smaller. I was planning on using small bags of a dozen each, but am considering making each bag combinations of 6 each so each person can take home a different variety.

Any suggustions?

Candy is fine.

If you are feeling guilty about the quantity and have time for more, by all means. If not, you've met the requirement. It's about social gathering, not "ohhh... what did I get?"
