Need some cake decorating help?
I am making a Blues Clues cake for my 3 year olds birthday. Both the cake pan and the icing color kit were discontinued but I was able to come up with the cake pan on eBay. However, I have not been able to find an icing kit or anything similar to be sure I'm getting the correct coloring. Anyone know where I might be able to find this discontinued icing kit (other than eBay cause I already tried) OR know what mixture of blues I would need to get the correct colors for Blue from Blue's Clues? Thanks so much!
If you're using the Wilton paste colors, usually the "licensed" colors are the same, or close to another regular color. Checking the Wilton website at http://www.wilton.com shows not just that the coloring kit is discontinued, but what colors were in it:
Blue
Sky Blue
Dark Blue
Purple
Check your local stores that carry Wilton products for the above colors. I get mine at Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, or Joanne's Fabrics.
