If I drop by ex's house and give him a piece of cake for his birthday...Desperate?
My ex's bday is coming up, and I just wanted to give him a piece of his favourite cake and something else that's small. I just want to do a nice gesture, even though it might surprise him. Does it look desperate?
I would say it depends on how your relationship ended, if it was a mutual agreement that you two just weren't compatible & decided to move on than I don't see anything wrong with it. If it was a bad break & he told you he didn't want to be with you, see, or talk to you anymore than I'd say let it go, it could make you look desperate. Some couples just realize they're better off as friends, if that's so than I wouldn't see a problem with it. I would decide what to do based on the status of what type of relationship you two have now, if you're still on good terms or can't stand one another.
